2015 Nissan LEAF vs 2015 FIAT 500e near Grand Rapids, MI

The LEAF is surprisingly fun to drive, the quick acceleration off the line gives a sporty feel to the beginning for the drive but as you keep going that feeling gives away to a very consistent and smooth drive. Driving a FIAT 500e is what you'd hope for and more. The low-end torque of being an EV gives you a lot of pep at speeds up to 40 mph and then the power you need for accelerating on the freeway. Electronic Stability Control and a low center of gravity also makes the FIAT 500e a blast on mountain curves.

2015 Nissan LEAF Power & Handling

Less parts, less maintenance. Say goodbye to pricey oil changes and tune-ups. With fewer moving parts than any car you have ever owned, the  Nissan LEAF is ultra low maintenance. Efficiency is in every detail. The 2015 Nissan Leaf is designed for efficiency, and that does not just mean the electric motor. With an aerodynamic body, regenerative brakes, and available LED low-beam headlights that use half the energy of traditional ones, the Nissan LEAF gets more miles and more fun out of every kilowatt.

2015 Nissan LEAF Features & Design

From the moment you hear its signature power-up chime, you are in for a blast behind the wheel of the Nissan LEAF. A heated, leather-wrapped  steering wheel will keep your hands warm on chilly mornings. Ultra modern gauges and an easy-to-read Display Drive Computer puts  information like range, battery charge level, and power usage info front and center. Fun that's efficient. Practical that's cool. The  best of all worlds, all in one car.

2015 FIAT 500e Features & Design

Being part of the 500 line, the 500e is largely identical in form and features to the hardtop version of the standard 500.  It is a two-door  four-person vehicle with a rear lift gate that accesses the rear cargo area which can be expanded via the split folding rear seat.  Included conveniences come in the form of an integrated navigation system, heated front seats, automated temperature controls, steering wheel mounted audio controls, and an available power moon-roof.

The 500e gives the driver & passenger plenty of space with comfortable racing-style leatherette seats. While it's not built for long distance drives, the LEAF is well equipped and a lot of effort was put into making it comfortable for the driver and the passengers. The LEAF has more than enough hip room and headroom for the driver and can easily carry the entire family.
